- One plan sheet entitled "S.S. Virginia, Outboard Profile." The drawing consists of black ink on linen and shows a starboard side exterior profile view of the proposed steamship. The title block in the lower right corner shows that the drawing was prepared by the "Manitowoc Dry Dock Co." at a scale of 1/8 inch = 1 foot and is dated March 24, 1907. The plan number is shown as "3215."

- This stained and slightly yellowed paper envelope contained a 1-page letter that was written by Charles H. Jacobs who was the Chairman of the fund and also the Vice President and Managing Director of the Buhl Stamping Company. A handwritten note along the left edge shows "From Mr. Charles Jacobs." The center area of the envelope shows the typewritten title, "The Detroit High School Scholarship Fund. What it will have accomplished and what its resources will be in the year 2000 A.D., By Charles H. Jacobs, Chairman."

- Complimentary Detroit, Lansing, and Northern Railroad pass issued to Adda R. Cavell in 1885. The pass is numbered "2," and is signed by the line's general manager John B. Mulliken. The card is printed in dark green on light green paper with an engraving of the Michigan State Capitol in the upper left. A map of rail routes through Michigan is printed on the verso, however it has been obscured by remnants of a paper to which the card was mounted.
