- Notes:
- Small fragment of yellowed woven wool fabric with twining along one edge. There is extensive damage but one row appears to be countered red and the other row is countered, half red and half yellow. The twining loops pass over two warps each. At the opposite edge there is an area of darning repair. There is red stitching near the twining. A small piece of the same fabric was sewn on along one edge. Along the edge opposite from the attached piece, the wefts encircle the outside warp. Possible dove-tail tapestry?

- Fragments of three fabrics that have been sewn together.; Fragment A - yellowed warp and weft; Fragment B - two pieces, at right angles to fragment A, and somewhat finer. One piece (B1) has two purple tapestry bands which vary in width from 0.3 cm to 2 cm. The bands are terminated by oval (vegetal ?) motifs. There are remnants of weft-wrapping in each.; Fragment C - brown warp and weft.

- Two fragments of (probably) the same fabric that have been sewn together. Both fragments have yellowed warp and divided blue tapestry bands that are dove-tailed to the yellowed weft. Tapestry bands are as follows:; Fragment A - blue 5.5 cm; yellow 0.3 cm; blue 0.6 cm; yellow 0.4 cm; blue 5 cm; Fragment B - blue 5.5 cm; yellow 0.3 cm; blue 0.8 cm; yellow 0.4 cm; blue 5.3 cm; The blue bands all have linen weft-wrapping but it is too deteriorated to determine patterning. There are small linen slit tapestry elements along most of the weft-wise edges of the blue bands. Each fragment has a ribbed selvedge.

- The above measurements are for the pad as a whole and do not reflect warp and weft directions. Several fragments sewn together into a layered pad. Parallel rows of stitching go through all layers. Individual fragments are described under fabric structure.; Top layer:; 1 - yellow warp, blue/green, red and yellow weft 2 - yellow warp and purple weft; 3 - red warp/red weft (dye ran into warp which may have originally been yellow); 4 - green warp/green weft (dye ran out in places); 5 - brown warp/blue-purple weft (with selvedge); 6 - brown warp/purple weft (extremely worn); Fragments not listed on accession card (top layer); 7 - yellow warp/red-purple weft; 8 - blue-grey warp/brown-gold weft with blue tapestry; Bottom layer:; 1 - brown warp/brown weft; 2 - yellow warp/yellow weft; 3 - yellow warp/yellow weft (unattached fragment); Middle layers (difficult to see, not listed on accession card); 1 - light brown warp/light brown weft (very loosely woven); 2 - yellow warp/yellow weft; 3 - yellow warp/brown weft (with border); 4 - yellow warp/brown weft; 5 - brown warp/brown weft; 6 - brown warp/ brown weft; (rag amalgam)

- Large fragment of multi-colored woven wool fabric. The warp is 2-ply unevenly dyed green. The main weft is 4-ply unevenly dyed green. There is a supplementary weft that may have been used for tufts (or loops). These supplementary wefts are in four colors; red, yellow/green, light brown/gold and dark brown/red. The yellow/green may be a natural yarn with green dye that has bled into it. There are several random stitches of coarse linen yarn. A thinner linen yarn was used to attach two small fragments of brown woven wool fabric. The larger fragment has purple bands and tapestry patterning as follows:; purple band 0.3 cm; brown 0.7 cm; tapestry band with 4 picks of purple at top and bottom and purple tapestry with brown background 1.7 cm; brown 0.7 cm The other attached fragment is balanced plain weave.

- Fragment of yellowed woven wool fabric with a 0.8 cm green/blue weft band near one end. There are a few loose yellow picks between the band and the edge of the fragment. There is a ribbed selvedge along one edge.
