- Temporary pillars in Fulton Park Memorial to Gold Star heroes of World War I. The more elaborate pillars erected by the American Legion were begun in 1926 (see image no. 255). These two pillars, which flank an entrance to the park, are tall, square, slightly tapered and unadorned except for the lettering “They Gave Their Lives” (left pillar) and “That We Might Live” (right pillar). Underneath each of these mottoes stands a single star; then the list of names. An American flag is suspended between the pillars above the park entrance. A few people can be seen through the entrance, sitting on benches.

- The large crowd has gathered for the dedication of a monument to Central High School students who were killed in World War I. The monument is a square white tower with a bronze plaque inset that reads, "Dedicated to the memory of those from Central High School who have made the supreme sacrifice in defense of humanity in the World War, 1914-1918."

- This picture, by M.S. Morris, Herald Staff, was selected by the Black Monument Co. from eight by different photographers. Marble steps lead to a marble bench, on which a bronze of John Ball is seated with a little girl on his right knee and a little boy standing on his other side, encircled by his left arm. Trees are in full foliage. No other structures are visible in the background.

- Drinking fountain at Campau Square. The ladies in costume are the Betsy Ross quartet of the Canton Ohio Daughters of Union Veterans: Elizabeth Waterson, Laura Moorehead, Enid Myers, Cora Lambright. This fountain was removed when the Foster-Stevens building was sold, to be reset when the drainage can be arranged. The four ladies, in long dresses and bonnets, stand behind the fountain, which is etched “Lest we forget the G.A.R.; fraternity, charity, loyalty”.

- A tall Celtic cross, near the base of which is the lettering “This Cross is Erected by St. Mark's Parish to the Glory of God and in Loving Memory of its Heroes Who Gave [Their] Lives...” (any further lettering is obscured by foliage, along with the base of the marke. In the background, slightly out of focus, can be seen parts of St. Mark's church.

- World War I memorial pillars at the time of dedication, Nov. 12, 1926. The two pillars of the memorial are seen at night, with floral arrangements and wreaths at the foot of each pillar and a gold star flag hanging between them. Eight uniformed men with rifles form an honor guard in front and beside the monument, facing the camera. Behind them is a crowd of people.
