- Monochromatic glass plate negative taken of either the Chicago, Duluth and Georgian Bay Transit Company passenger steamers NORTH AMERICAN or SOUTH AMERICAN, a trio of tug boats, and a freighter outfitted with self-unloading equipment passing each other, as viewed from a long distance in the vacinity of Algonac. A tree lined shoreline is visible in the background. "Algonac 9-3-16," was handwritten on the envelope which previously held the negative.

- Letter, dated January 17th, 1913, from the Detroit Stove Works to the Soo Hardware Company in Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan. The letter discusses an error in communication about replacement part numbers. At the top of the letter are images of the company's stove works on Jefferson Avenue in Detroit and their Western Offices on La Salle Street in Chicago.

- One drawing entitled "Crossection of Toledo, Ann Arbor & North Michigan Railroad Car Ferry Steamers No. 1 & No. 2." Additional text indicates that these ships were under construction at the Craig Ship Building Company Works in Toledo, Ohio, as of June 6, 1892. The drawing was prepared by George Craig at a scale of 1/2"=1 ft. It consists of black ink on linen and shows a cross section view of the wooden-hulled railroad car ferries. Handwritten text and a blue stamp in the lower right corner show "Str. No. 55 & 56, No. 4-1" and "New Drawing No. Tol. 55-S11-11-3, Tube No. 1."

- Color postcard depicting the Casino on Belle Isle with a car on the road in the foreground. Printed on verso: Casino, Belle Isle. Detroit's principal recreation spot, is an island in the Detroit river connected with the city by a bridge, 8 feet less than half a mile in length. It comprises 702 acres, is over two miles long and boasts of over 20 miles of fine macadam roadway, which completely circles and frequently intersects it. A fine zoo, aquarium, horticultural building, swimming and skating pavilions, casino and boat livery are in connection. The city has expended over $1,500,000 on it since its purchase in 1879. Handwritten message on verso, postmarked May 28, 1909.

- One set of architectural "Specifications for Mr. George Kolb, Sr., for a Hollow Tile and Brick Residence Located on the North Side of Center Avenue Between Chase and Tromble Streets, Bay City, Michigan." The specifications (Job 256, Set No. 1) are bound in a booklet that has two brass fasteners at the top. The cover is made of heavy tan paper and includes typewritten text for the title. Printed text beneath the title shows the name, "J. Lawson Miller, Architect." The cover interior and outside back cover have printed advertisements for many contractors, tradesmen, and building materials suppliers. The booklet contains 93 pages of typewritten text that give brief descriptions of all of the materials and construction requirements for the project. An index is shown on the first page.
