- Black and white print negative of a photograph and caption clipped from the March 18, 1934 Detroit News, depicting a row of storefronts on the east side of Woodward Avenue, near John R Street in 1899. Caption reads: WOODWARD AVENUE (east side), in 1899. F.J. Schwanovsky music house at John R. corner. D.D. Spellman photographic studio on second floor. Adjoining was Baron & McBean, mantels, grates and tiles. A.T. Knowlson's next. Also pictured are the storefronts for C.M. Hayes and Company, Photographers, and Jewel Gas Ranges and Gas Heaters. A horse-drawn sleigh and a horse carriage are in the street.

- One set of architectural "Specifications for Mr. Harvey Merrell for a Solid Brick Double House Located on the Southwest Corner of Wabash and Locust St's., Detroit, Mich." The specifications (Job 246, Set No. 2) are bound in a booklet that has two brass fasteners at the top. The cover is made of heavy tan paper and includes handwritten text for the title. Printed text beneath the title shows the name, "J. Lawson Miller, Architect." The cover interior and outside back cover have printed advertisements for many contractors, tradesmen, and building materials suppliers. The booklet contains 71 pages of typewritten text that give brief descriptions of all of the materials and construction requirements for the project. An index is shown on the first page.

- Single-sided schedule showing days and times for exercises at the University of Michigan's College of Medicine and Surgery. The schedule is divided into sections for freshmen, juniors, and seniors, and courses are held Monday through Saturday from 9:30 to 5. The senior courses are pathologyand practice, obstetrics and gynaecology, surgery, ophthalmology, and surgical anatomy. Juniors take pathology and practice, descriptive anatomy, surgery, obstetrics and gynaecology, physiology, materia medica, chemistry, practical anatomy, and a chemical laboratory. The freshmen courses are descriptive anatomy, histology, physiology, sanitary science and physiological chemistry, materia medica, chemistry, practical anatomy, a chemical laboratory, and a histological laboratory. "Lippincott's Gazetteer of World," is handwritten at the top in pencil, along with some smaller text that is too faded to discern.

- One copy of a drawing entitled "Passenger & Freight Stmr., Hull #104, Type Sections" that shows a cross-section view of the hull and decks of the proposed steamship (originally the SS BAINBRIDGE and later the ALGOMAH II). This copy is a negative image of the original drawing with line work shown in white on a dark gray background. The title block in the lower right corner shows that the drawing, Plan No. 1, was prepared by the "Rice Brothers Corporation, East Boothbay, Maine." It was drawn at a scale of 1/2 inch = 1 foot and is undated.
