- One cover letter, dated May 22, 1925, from Lt. Col. E.J. Dent of the War Department to the Dunbar & Sullivan Dredging Company. The letter has been typewritten in black ink on white paper that is watermarked "Madewell Bond." It indicates that a permit has been issued by the War Department to Dunbar & Sullivan which allows for fill and riprap placement around Stony Island. A 2-page permit is attached which consists of one page of typewritten permit details and one page of standard conditions.

- Black and white photographic print taken from the front end of a Packard 8 convertible, just behind the front right wheel. The photograph features the front end of the front portion of the Packard hood, including the emblem, on the lower left corner, with a view overlooking an expanse of the Swiss Alps. A hand written note on the reverse of the photograph indicates that the photo was taken at the top of Klausen Pass, and that the featured Packard was the "first car to [the] top in 1925."

- One postcard entitled "Removal Notice." The postcard is printed in black ink on heavy white paper and notes that "The Schmansky Bros. Co., Tailors" has moved from 502 Baker St. to 550 Baker St. in Detroit. Suits and overcoats are advertised for prices that range from $18.00 to $30.00. The postcard is addressed to "Mr. Waltensperger, 201 20th St., City," and is postmarked January 29, 1916.

- Color postcard depicting many people at the bathing beach on Bob-Lo Island. In view are a slide and rowboat. Printed on verso: Bob-Lo Bois Blanc Island, Detroit River, one of Detroit's favorite pleasure grounds is situated in Canadian waters at the junction of Detroit River and Lake Erie. The island is owned by the Detroit, Belle Isle & Windsor Ferry Co., comprises 225 acres and is equipped with a Casino, Dancing Pavilion, Athletic Field, Bathing Beach and similar conveniences. The fine steamer Columbia covers the run several times daily. Postmarked August 9, 1909. "65378 Printed in Germany" is printed on the verso.

One man, presumably Charles Abbs, stands in the doorway, clad in a white shirt and apron. Another man, wearing a suit and derby stands in front of the doorway holding a cigar. "Front of Abbs Saloon 1911," is typewritten on the verso.
